The business institution started to evolve through the President and Chairman of the Board himself, Mr. Felix Garcia Yusay. In early 1960’s known as the Yusay Commercial then, the company was primarily engaged in the business of selling imported used clothing and as it grew and gained more clients, it started providing informal lending services to its clients. With this development, and amendment to the company’s Articles of Incorporation was made in June 23, 1984 changing the name of the company into Yusay Credit and Lending Corporation, and in June 14, 2004 was approved by SEC as Yusay Credit and Finance Corporation as it is now. “Fast and Personalized Service” is what gives Yusay Credit and Finance Corporation an edge over its competitors. As additional Loan Portfolio that specifically caters to the needs of the retirees and the pensioners was added in the 1990’s – the Pension Loan. Confident of its Management and Financial capability, Yusay Credit and Finance Corporation started its expansion in April 26, 1992 in Roxas City, Capiz. In a span of 12 years, YCFC was able to open 12 branches nationwide and continues to look forward in putting up more branches. Continued growth and expansion have likewise given YCFC the opportunity to improve its services and to live up to its mission of providing fast and personalized lending service.
